Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Mechatronics Technician to support our hardware team in developing and assembling our water quality sensor technology. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing housings, assembling components, conducting tests, and refining designs to ensure our technology meets high standards of performance and reliability.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assemble and integrate electronic components into sensor devices.
  • Manufacture mechanical components (drilling, sawing, filing, threading, etc.).
  • Conduct electrical assembly and testing of sensor kits, circuit boards, and sensor boxes.
  • Assist in maintaining and creating technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware assembly.
  • Communicate with manufacturers and suppliers regarding components and production.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.

Your Profile

  • Background in Mechatronics or a related technical field.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, wiring, and circuit board soldering.
  • Strong technical and manual skills (e.g., using drills, saws, and other hand tools).
  • Experience in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Autodesk) and 3D printing is a plus.
  • Understanding technical schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Passionate about environmental sustainability and water quality technology.
  • Driving license (Category B) and knowledge of German language are a must.
